You can use it for Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and you can plug it into a guitar amp.
According to Inspired Instruments, the company showing the You Rock Guitar at CES this week, this new hybrid guitar “lets anyone rock right out of the box.” Awww yeah (everyone throw up the horns.) “It works seamlessly with Guitar Hero and Rock Band on Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 gaming platforms, but can also can be plugged into a standard guitar amplifier or headphones and played like a conventional guitar using any of 100 pre-set guitar and synth sounds,” the company states. Incorporating a touch-sensitive neck and real strings for accurate picking, the device is designed to “effectively deliver the performance and feeling of a real six-string instrument.”
