WHATS INCLUDED:
A complete check-up for your guitar or bass, setup the way you like it. My Basic Setup includes neck adjustments as needed, adjustments to bridge action, precise strobe tuned intonation, adjustments to nut height, lube and dressing of nut as needed, fingerboard cleaning and a fret polish.
Remember, unlike at some shops, each setup that I do is different from the next – there is no “standard” setup for me. I put the guitar in “Balance”, where the Neck Relief, Nut Height and String Action work together for great playability. If any one of these three things are off, it can really muck up a guitars mojo. Every guitar is different, and every player is different and I enjoy getting direct feedback from my customers in their own homes and studios because it enables me to achieve better results.
Every instrument is also checked for future problems like bad solder joints, loose hardware and electronics that could cause problems down the road. My experience in “bulletproofing” guitars for the road has taught me to look for thing that some techs might simply overlook.
I also go the extra mile and clean the funk off of the thing at no extra charge, however this is of course optional. Hey, some people are funny about their funk, what can we say?
